Life Style Sports are Ireland’s largest sports retailer, operating out of stores in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland. The business approached KFP during 2019 to assist with the rollout of new POS technology in store to support the front-end element of a major Microsoft Dynamics 365 roll out

The Challenge

The deployment of new POS devices throughout the country during the COVID-19 pandemic was a challenge, but working collaboratively with Life Style Sports, software providers and KFP’s POS partner – hp – they were able to deliver a successful rollout during early 2021. From the KFP facility based out of Dublin, the team were able to provide local build, deployment & support functions without disruption, with flexibility being the key to a successful partnership.

With over 25 years experience in providing retail IT projects, KFP were confident that not only could they provide Life Style Sports with a full and professional rollout service, but could also achieve it well within budget and the required
timeframe.

Results

KFP successfully deployed approx. 120x fixed POS, and 70x mobile devices to allow trade on the sales floor for Life Style Sports.

Life Style Sports benefited from KFP’s many years of experience in supporting some of the world’s leading brands calling upon their considerable expertise, experience and ability to go above and beyond – in this case, the extra was key to ensuring that the rollout was; and continues to be, a success. Post install, KFP have been providing ongoing break/fix onsite support & helpdesk support for all stores and also KFP 365 remote monitoring & management (RMM) platform managed services.
