Official KFP Statement

Coronavirus Update

Dear Valued Customers,

I wanted to communicate to you all directly regarding the coronavirus outbreak that you may have heard in the media.

As a trusted employer, we wanted to inform you all that we are taking and continue to take advice directly from the World Health Organization, Public Health England and local government regarding the Coronavirus and what we need to do to keep everyone safe.

The World Health Organization have declared that the UK risk level of Coronavirus has increased from low to moderate, however, the actual risk to each and every individual is still relatively low.

KFP are taking all the precautions required to keep everyone safe. This includes but is not limited to:

  • Encouraging all to wash their hands frequently with an alcohol-based hand rub and wash them with soap and water.
  • Asking all to maintain at least 1 metre (3 feet) distance between themselves and anyone who is coughing, sneezing or genuinely feeling unwell.
  • Requesting that you all avoid touching eyes, nose and mouth as these areas can pick up viruses very quickly.
  • Practising respiratory hygiene, meaning covering your mouth and nose with your bent elbow or tissue when you cough or sneeze. Then dispose of the used tissue immediately.

KFP engineers who are located all over Europe and other KFP members of staff operating across the European region will only travel if it is safe to do so following the advice and guidance provided from the World Health Organization and Public Health England.

We will, however, continue to do everything we need to do with regards to maintaining our high level of service to all of our customers during this time.

We encourage each and every member of staff, customer or visitor, to inform a health professional if they are showing any signs of a fever, cough and/or have any difficulty breathing. You are encouraged to seek medical care immediately and to stay at home.

We will continue to follow advice from the World Health Organization and Public Health England, as well as local government, going forward and will ensure you are updated regularly.

Kind regards

John Moss | CEO
